leadership program

Our new Leadership Program consists of 5 levels. 

Level 1 is PONY POWER TIME (PPT)

Pony Practice Time is and activity that students can participate in that are 10 years old or older and have ridden with Schow's Ranchette for 1 year or are a Beginning C level student.  This is a 2 hour block of time that students will be able to come in and practice their skills with the ponies at Schow's Ranchette.  This activity will be on the 2nd and 4th  Saturday morning 10:30 am -12:30.

Level 2 is PONY POWER PEOPLE (PPP)

Pony Power People is an activity that students get to participate in that are 11 years old or older and have ridden with Schow's Ranchette for 2 years  or are in Intermediate lessons.  Students will commit to helping with the You & Me & Horse Makes 3 Power Program and Beginning A lessons.   The PPP's will help prepare and handle the horses n the lessons.  

Level 3 is BACK IN THE SADDLE (BINS)

Back in the saddle is an activity that students can participate in that are 12 years old or older and have ridden with Schow's Ranchette for 3 years or are in Intermediate C lessons.  This is a 2 hour block of time that students will be able to come in and practice their skills with the younger and less experienced horses.  This activity will be on the 2nd and 4th Saturday morning 8:30-10:30 am. 

Level 4 is Barn Management Supervisor

These students need to be 14 or older and have ridden with Schow's Ranchette for 4 years or are in the Advanced lessons.  Students commit to a 4 -6 hour block of time where they come in and help supervise workers who clean stalls and do barn maintenance.  They also start learning to teach by showing workers and EM about stalls, tack and barn maintenance.

Level 5 is Barn Leaders

These students are 15 years old or older and have reached the advanced riding level with Schow's Ranchette.  These students commit to a 4 -6 hour block of time where they come in and assist n teaching Power, Beginning, and Intermediate lessons.
